The Standard Wand: is used with the swab to plate the metal out of solution and onto the part. As the metal used up in the solution it must be replaced when it no longer supplies a plate. |
The Anode Wand: is used where the solution
needs support from an anode of the same metal. A strip of Copper,
Zinc, Tin or Brass is inserted into a slot in the wand and will replace
some of the metal removed from the solution during plating. This
helps the solution go further and allows a better flow of metal ions.
|
The Curved Wand: is for items that have a radius and allows a better contact with the surface being plated. This item in not currently supplied as an Anode wand. The wand is ideal for tubes or dished items or for example when applying a Zinc surface to a car body repair. | ||||||||
