Increase
the corrosion resistance of your powder coated parts.
Caswell
Iron Phosphate Primer is a concentrated liquid, multiple
temperature, detergent iron phosphate. It provides metal surfaces
with a unique under-paint corrosion resistance and prepares the
metal for a strong paint bond.
Main
areas of use
1)
Neofos 350 incorporates a small percentage of fluoride to
give excellent adhesion prior to paint or powder systems.
2)
the excellent adhesion properties makes Neofos 350 ideal
for bonding plastics to metal
Following
phosphating, components should be thoroughly rinsed in clean water
followed by a hot water rinse containing Caswell AR22 an organic
rust inhibitor. Then dry immediately before painting or powder
coating.
It
is effective on steel, aluminum & zinc. Immerse parts in
the diluted solution at 70-160°F for 2-5 minutes. May also be
applied by spray washer. Dilute 0.5-2% with water. Operate at
temperatures between 70-160°F for 30-60 seconds.
