Caswell-Ecostrip 500 

 

Caswell-Ecostrip500 is a highly effective water based paint stripper which is user/ environmentally friendly as it is non-toxic and biodegradable.  Caswell-Ecostrip500 also offers very low VOC emissions. Non-ozone depletant and is not regulated by authorities for transport, storage or health and safety. Caswell-Ecostrip500 is safe for use on most metal components including steel and aluminium. Caswell-Ecostrip500 can also be used for stripping plastics, however it is recommended that a small area is initially tested for compatabili1y.

Tests carried out against other similar user-friendly paint strippers indicate that Caswell-Ecostrip500 is quicker at stripping most paint finishes including Nato green.

TYPICAL USES

Caswell-Ecostrip 500 will effectively remove a wide range of coatings including alkyd paints, lead based paints, urethanes, and varnish.  Ecostrip 500 will also lift twin pack and fusion bonded oxides from a wide range of materials including steel, aluminium, most alloys and most plastics.

 

Typical applications include:

  • Stripping of small parts/ components where brush on products are not suitable.

  • Stripping of jigs or hooks from powder coating operations.

  • Removal of paints in various automotive manufacturing and remanufacturing industries.
