Due to the demand for a well structured training

has secured the skills of a professional plater who has been providing
instruction in this branch of metal finishing for some time.

The course will cover plating a number of
different metal substrates and also the approach to brush plating
non-conductive items.

Trainees are required to take to the course
objects that they wish to plate, so that these can be processed using the
methods displayed and can be made ready for sale. This will provide
items for sale to the public that will off-set the cost of the training.

Brush Plating is not a difficult to process to
master. We, Caswell take care of the Chemistry and take the jargon out
of the subject. You develop the ART of applying the technique
to the object. It is said that "Practice makes Perfect" but
this takes time and if you want to get off the ground quickly it is better
to draw on the experience of a skilled operator.

0930 Assemble and discuss what the
student requires from the course.
09.30 -
11.00 Theory. Introduction to
basic principles of electroplating, examining the difference between Tank
and Brush Plating. The theory of plating on plastics described, with
examples & repair processes. Q & A session.
11.00 -
12.00 Practical workshop
12.00 - 13.00
Lunch at a local restaurant (included in the course fee)
13.00 - 15.30
