Tru-Blu "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" (UCL)

TRU-BLU "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" is a special blend of 100% petroleum, pure petroleum essence, fuel additive which mixes with and equalises each tank of fuel you buy, whether it be petrol, gas or diesel, overcoming the nasty side effects of poor quality fuels, improving fuel economy by up to 30% and reducing harmful emissions by as much as 77%. Because UCL enriches your normal fuel, combustion is greatly enhanced and you can immediately start to save up to 30% of your normal fuel costs by being able to travel much further on the same amount of fuel.

Further product information:

With the ever-present possibility of picking up poor quality or 'doctored' fuel which can damage your engine, it is a wise decision to use "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" (UCL) fuel additive in your fuel.

Tru-Blu "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" (UCL) effectively overcomes the problems caused by varying standards of fuel which are sold at Filling Stations on today's market. As fuels may be contaminated with chemicals and moisture, UCL is required to prevent serious damage being done to engines and expensive machinery by contaminants. Because UCL enriches your normal fuel, combustion is greatly enhanced and you can immediately start to save up to 30% of your normal fuel costs by being able to travel much further on the same amount of fuel purchased, which equates to saving you much more money than the cost of the UCL. Your engine maintains its tune for far longer because the UCL cleans and keeps clean, the combustion chamber including valves, injectors and your spark plugs. Using UCL extends spark plug life in most instances, even up to 50,000Kms. Combustion efficiency is increased to such an extent that often, the timing can be advanced up to 7 degrees, which means even greater fuel economy and exhaust emissions (such as Carbon Dioxide and HydroCarbons) can be reduced at least 50% and sometimes as much as 77%, which is a major benefit for YOUR environment.

All fuel has some water in it when you buy it, accumulated from condensation in the ground tanks. UCL can absorb up to 10% water in the fuel, thereby not affecting and protecting your engine performance. It does this by breaking up water and encapsulating it until it passes into the combustion chamber where it is emitted harmlessly as steam.

If adding UCL to your petrol/diesel fuel tank (LPG vehicles must install a Lubricator kit), Tru-Blu UCL does two things. Firstly, it coats the inside of the tank with a waterproof lining preventing corrosion to the tank and fuel pump and secondly, it absorbs any moisture that is present. The moisture becomes encapsulated and is held in suspension by Tru-Blu UCL as it is carried through to the combustion chamber where it is safely burnt away and emitted as steam. Tru-Blu UCL also dissolves pollutants in fuel which you may pick up when filling your tank and will also dissolve accumulated pollutants, which are probably in your fuel lines, without any possibility of causing harm to your engine because Tru-Blu UCL is not solvent based and is totally inert.

Not only is your fuel line cleaned, Tru-Blu UCL also cleans fuel injectors and lubricates them, and in the combustion chamber, Tru-Blu UCL cleans all the accumulated varnishes, gums and resins from the metal surfaces. This action of dissolving varnishes, gums and resins means that carbon build-up in the combustion chamber is removed from the surfaces and is burnt away because carbon actually adheres to these varnishes rather than to metal. Tru-Blu UCL then maintains an oil film at all times on the metal surfaces in the combustion chamber and maintains lubrication there, preventing any further residue deposits from accumulating.

The benefits are particularly evident in gas powered (LPG) engines because gas burns much hotter than petrol and is a drier fuel, causing much higher temperatures and burns out engine parts earlier, particularly valves. With UCL, temperatures are kept much lower, reducing the damage caused by high combustion chamber temperatures, thereby protecting valves and rendering valve seat recession undetectable.

The results of the application of Tru-Blu "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" are :

  • Cylinder compressions are improved or restored. Improvement can actually be measured by compression testing.
  • Noticeable increase in fuel economy, up to 30% saving when using LPG fuels.
  • Engine runs measurably cooler, contributing to less engine wear.
  • Spark plugs are kept cleaner longer, extending useful life up to 50,000kms.
  • Your engine maintains its 'tune' for a much longer period of time than normal.
  • Measurable reductions in exhaust emissions such as Carbon Dioxide and dangerous HydroCarbons (can be reduced at least 50% and sometimes as much as 77%), which is good for your environment.
  • Catalytic converters last much longer due to the significant reduction in pollutants being exhausted from the combustion chamber.
  • Valve seats and faces, on Unleaded and LPG engines particularly, are protected due to the significant reduction in engine operating temperature and improved lubrication in the combustion chamber.
  • Ignition timing can be advanced up to 7 degrees, thereby causing even further increases in fuel economy and engine performance, while ensuring smoother running.

Tru-Blu Multi-Fuel "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" can be used with any fuel; Unleaded, Diesel, LPG, 2 Stroke and Heavy fuels and will provide the benefits for you, whichever of these fuels you use.

The USAGE RATE for UCL is 1:650 parts fuel. A single 1 litre bottle of UCL therefore supplements 10-12 average size petrol tanks of fuel at a cost of approx. £1.50 per full tank, so you only add a maximum of 100 ml UCL per tank fill to a 65 litre size tank, correspondingly only 50 ml UCL is required when adding only 30 - 35 litres of fuel
