| The
fuel tanks went fine as did the Tapox application. The Fertan rust
converter is continuing to prove useful.
RM Kent.
I have some panels inside which are
nicely rusted, and I've already applied Fertan to one of them, and
yes, it doe take a hard, black surface which looks like it'll
last, so I'm gaining confidence. RA
I'm quite impressed with Fertan so
far, it does have a satisfying reaction when applied. What I have
been doing is applying
Fertan then
several coats of Ferpox and then topcoat will be going on when I'm
good and ready (Chlorinated Rubber inside the cockpit lockers and
anchor locker, and going to be International deck paint on the
deck (could have made my own with sand, but I never seem to get an
even finish that
way). IH Plymouth
You said that if I had a steel boat
I should be using Fertan. You were correct. DW Falmouth

Thanks
for the quick reply, I've used Fertan before and it gives
very good results
MC Bath
I used it on the Beetle
mid morning after going over with a wire brush in an angle grinder
so most of the surface looked nice and shiny, now it's shiny black
and looks good.
I will have to take some photos to record another stage of the
restoration. DC IOW
Thanks
for the prompt dispatch of our order and for the letter and
leaflet ..The Fertan is definitely for the Mini project, I use it
on every welded joint and plate as an anti-corrosive surface
treatment until I can get to the area with the two-pack paint. The
Mini is now coming together...
You may have noticed that I ordered 2 litres this time,
well that is because I have managed to convert my brother-in-law
to Fertan (away from the dreaded red oxide and a lot of luck), he
is my latest convert R & E Birmingham
The best
product I've tested. It's worked particularly well in
conjunction with UBS120.

| We didn't appreciate the
difficulties involved in shot blasting in the town centre.
The rust converter has done a excellent job and kept the
project on schedule, thanks for that.
I was initially doubtful about Ferpox but the trial pieces
we did came out well. The final finish is excellent and client,
architect and ourselves consider it a good result.
We are moving straight on to Darlington and will be in
touch. PE

The architects we spoke with had
specified it on earlier projects and were confident about the long
term benefits.
GR Manchester
The council's attitude, and that of our
office tenants, makes it impossible to shot blast the walkways.
The Fertaned areas we did for test last year took the paint
well and are corrosion free.
We chipped off some areas to inspect.
Our order for 75 litres is attached.

As you can imagine the corrosion issues
in the Falkland Islands are difficult to surmount.
The treatment of the test warehouse was quick and easy and
the Fertan surface took the paint well.
Please arrange for the attached order to be shipped on the
December boat. Falkland Islands |
