Green Patins

 Liquid concentrate for producing decorative green oxide finishes on

Copper and Copper Alloys.

Green Patinas produces a decorative oxide finish on Copper and Copper alloys.

The process is particularly effective on brass producing various shades of

Green as required.

The colour formation, produced by Green Patinas, is dependent upon both the

immersion time and the concentration up to 4 parts deionised water to 1 part Green Patinas solution. The longer the

immersion time, the darker the colour produced. The more concentrated the

solution the faster the formation of the coating. In general, “medium” shades

are produced after 30 seconds of immersion. Make up (concentration) and

conditions (time and/or temperature) may be varied to achieve the desired results.

The coating produced by Green Patinas is primarily for decorative purposes and is

generally lacquered as a final operation to ensure quality and protection for

the appearance/colouring 1 litre will give approximately 3 square meters.
