Copper Conductive Paint

Make non-conductive items such as plastics, resins, leather, ceramics, cardboard, flowers, leaves, roses etc.  conductive so they can be plated.  

Copper Conductive Paint is an inexpensive alternative to our highly conductive Silvaspray™ silver conductive paint.  Porous items such as leather,

cardboard, plants etc. should first be dipped in our Sealer Concentrate.  Most plastics can be sprayed directly.  No primer required. 

Water based, latex paint. Non toxic and non hazardous.  Can be thinned if desired with up to 6:1 water. Air dries in 1 hour. 

Coverage approx 20 sq ft per 4 fl oz.  It can be applied directly onto acrylic, ABS and structural foams, as well as solvent sensitive materials

such as polycarbonate and polystyrene.  It can be applied to almost any other non-porous surface just use a latex primer first.

After spraying parts with the conductive paint, allow to dry and dip in Tinning Solution, then plate with our Acid Copper Plating Kit.  Ideal for

electroforming.  Requires a small airbrush or Preval Sprayer.  Available in 4oz cans.

Use this spray system to spray Copper Conductive Paint, Silvaspray, or any lacquer based paints.

System comes complete with glass jar, sprayer and lid. Refill sprayers are available.

Adds a conductive coat for high quality electroforming. Also for better results when using any copper/ graphite/ silver based conductive coating, dip parts in solution for 60 seconds and them plate with Acid Copper. Use solution at room temperature. No rectifier or power source required. Supplied as dry powder in a 1-litre bottle. You only have to add hot tap water.

Use this sealer where you wish to seal plaster, wood, fabrics, cardboard prior to making conductive with Silvaspray or Copper conductive paint.  The part can be plated with bright acid copper, nickel or Copy Chrome.  It is water based and can be thinned by the addition of up to 50% water.

It is classed non hazardous for use

SEALER is a fast drying coating that penetrates porous materials such as cloth, leather, flowers, leaves, concrete etc. rendering it non-porous.  The concentrate can be used as is, or thinned with an equal amount of water. The part is then totally immersed in the solution for 15-30 minutes, then allowed to drip dry. A second application several hours later renders the surface completely smooth and non-porous.

To make the part conductive the part is then sprayed with Silvaspray. Finally, the part can be plated with bright acid copper, nickel or Copy Chrome.

Ideal for plating baby shoes, bone, plants, cloth and other porous items.
