Our New Formula Degreaser is a Medium duty alkaline - caustic free detergent.  Used as a universal soak tank cleaner formulated to remove a wide range of contaminants including oil, grease, cutting and grinding fluids etc. encountered in manufacturing and remanufacturing industries.  Its complex blend of alkalis, surfactants, sequestrates, chelators makes it ideal for use on a wide range of applications, It is safe for use on ferrous metals, copper, and brass and may also be used on aluminium, zinc and their alloys, where a slight etch is not critical.

Directions for Use

Concentrations and temperatures to be used are determined by the level of contamination to be removed, this product will operate from cold, but for better and faster results a Temperature Range of 34°c to 80°c is better.

For using in a Soak Tank, you will need a mild or stainless steel tank/bucket, Plastic can be used, but please make sure it is Chemical Proof

Mix 50 grams per 1 litre of of Cold Tap Water, the numbers of litres you use will be determined by the size of the item you are cleaning.

For some processes it may also be better if you use an Agitator, the small type that is used in a fish tank is perfect for this.

It is advisable to wear gloves, and eye protection, as this can be irritant on skin

You will notice that most of our plating kits use this product as a degreaser, or in some cases the heavy duty version may be needed, this is a good product that works well, and we advise that should you need more for your plating kit supplies, please stay with this productt
